We have been invited by Giulio Cappellini, who curated the “Looking at Tod’s” project, to design a limited edition of the Gommino Driving Shoes. We decided to underline the thickness and beauty of the material with a simple random pattern pattern of squares, printed helter-skelter, like a handful of confetti. Pressed in relief, to give the surface a three-dimensional feel.
