Bookcase made of lime tree wood and Plexiglas and which can be disassembled
This bookcase is made up of elements that support one another by sheer force of gravity. Each element fits in other elements and the result is a balanced harmony of forces and weights. The weights of the shelves and of the objects placed on them contribute to the stability of the bookcase. The design is simple and based on a principle of reduction to the essential: lines and surfaces, which are minimal geometrical shapes. The wooden uprights that support the shelves look self-sustaining, and remind of a flamingo standing on one leg. This bookcase is impressive but is extremely easy to assemble and takes up very little room when disassembled.
