A console/writing desk made of curved metal strips. Its construction achieves maximum stability with a minimum of metal strips that give the object form and structure. Distinguished by its archetypal form and balanced proportions. It is simple and logical with two legs, a flat surface and a support, which also serves as an under top. Its appearance summons up an abstract image of the Torii portals of Japanese Shinto temples.
in 2016 we introduced Inari bench which is the evolution of the desk. It is a mono material and strict project in which the challenge was to search for a deep simplicity and logic composition together with a recognizable and poetic sign. A piece of furniture that can perfectly live in a domestic interior as in a museum space.
